Hatton National Bank achieved its Organizational-Level Greenhouse Gas Statement Verification and Carbon Neutral Certification for its Organizational-Level Greenhouse Gas Emission for the year 2023. This verification aligns with ISO 14064-1 Specification, providing comprehensive guidance for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals at the organizational level. The awarding ceremony was held on 1st April and 17th May 2024 at the Ministry of Environment. The certificates were awarded by Mr. B.K. Prabath Chandrakeerthi, Secretary to the Ministry of Environment and Chairman of the Sri Lanka Climate Fund.
