Bogawanthalawa Tea Estates joyously marked the triumphant culmination of their Organizational and Product-Level Greenhouse Gas Statement Verification for the year 2022 during a distinguished Certificate Awarding Ceremony. In addition to achieving emission neutrality through their Hydro and Solar Projects, Bogawanthalawa proudly obtained certifications for being Climate Positive and achieving Net Zero Energy status. These achievements were officially recognized and verified by the Sri Lanka Climate Fund accordance with ISO 14064-1 Specification with guidance at the organization level for quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals and ISO 14067 Greenhouse Gases Carbon Footprint of products Requirements.
